Prayer Ministry
Leader: Curtis Wampler

When we work... we work
When we pray... God works

The Prayer Ministry at FBC Mulvane is made up of followers of Christ, taking Him at his word - 'For where two or three have gathered together in My Name, I am there in their midst.'  (Matthew 18:20)  That is how our Wednesday evening prayer time came to be called 'The Gathering'.  I invite you to join us each Wednesday evening as we praise our Lord for the work He is doing in answer to our fervent prayers and intercession on behalf of those in need of His love, grace, and mercy.

We acknowledge that our greatest battles are spiritual and our greatest weapon is consistent passionate direct prayer to the throne of God.  Our Lord has proven His faithfulness repeatedly throughout our church life as we have obediently prayed for the outpouring of the Holy Sprit as we seek His will to be done in every area of our lives.  We believe in specific prayer for our church, community, and country including; families, marriages, youth, children, Learn & Grow, Sunday school, finances, church grounds, deacons/ yokefellows, pastors, staff, and government.

We are convinced that by the power of the Holy Spirit, and the righteousness that is ours through salvation in Christ, that mighty and wonderful things will take place when we pray - 'The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.' (James 5:16).

We invite church members and non-members alike to submit prayer requests through this website by clicking the 'Prayer' link so that we can support and join with you in your time of need.  We also want to hear how God has answered your prayers and is working in your life, so please let us know the same way.  We look forward to praying with you.
